Nestled within the hidden gem that is Belgravia’s Eccleston Yards, The Jones Family Kitchen combines a classic steakhouse vibe with a thoroughly modern twist.
Renowned for their melt in your mouth steaks, there are more than enough menu options to keep the less carnivorous happy too, including fish, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Provenance of the ingredients is key, with day boat fish from Cornwall brought in by Flying Fish, and steaks from grass-fed British cattle supplied by great British butchers
The Ginger Pig and Aubrey Allen. The steaks are dry-aged for a minimum of 28 days, before being cooked on the Josper grill to achieve perfect caramelisation.
Whilst the focus is on the amazing British meat and fish, there are also several vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as a range of cult-status sides and desserts including a truffled macaroni cheese and Anna’s Triple Chocolate Brownie with Malted Cornflake Gelato.
In summer, patrons can take advantage of the west facing terrace on Eccleston Yard, the perfect spot for sipping a glass from the carefully curated wine list or something from the extensive and imaginative range of cocktails.
The Jones Family Kitchen recently started serving breakfast from 8am during the week, which has been met with much acclaim. Perfect for early meetings or for picking up something on the way into the office, the new breakfast menu ranges from the nutritious (avocado on toast, homemade muesli, porridge) to the classic (pastries, eggs benedict) to the downright naughty (American style pancakes, French Toast). And what self-respecting steak restaurant couldn’t serve Steak & Eggs for breakfast? 280g of bone in Sirloin with a pair of fried Clarence Court eggs….yum.
